Catering Assistants & Housekeepers Wanted – Temporary & Ongoing Work | Peterborough Area


Enhance Catering Recruitment is currently recruiting Catering Assistants and Housekeepers to join our growing team for temporary and ongoing assignments across the Peterborough area.

Where You'll Be Working


Assignments include roles within:

  • Schools
  • Care Homes
  • Nurseries
  • Army Barracks
  • Hospitals
  • Other establishments requiring enhanced security clearance


An Enhanced DBS certificate is required for these roles (or willingness to obtain one if applicable).


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in catering, cleaning or housekeeping is preferred, but not essential
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (for Catering Assistant roles, preferred)
  • Enhanced DBS (required for these assignments)


Typical Duties


Catering Assistants

  • Preparing and serving food
  • Assisting chefs with food preparation
  • Washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
  • Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures


Housekeepers

  • Cleaning bedrooms, communal areas and facilities
  • Changing bedding and replenishing supplies
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of client sites
