Housekeeping Supervisor


We are currently recruiting an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to support service on board a luxury rail service, across the country. This person will be responsible for the maintenance of cabins and the close monitoring of cleanliness and standards. We're looking for someone who is bubbly and happy to interact with guests, while also maintaining a professional manner. Flexibility is also essential, as you will need to do whatever duties best meet the needs of our guests. Please note that this is an onsite role, accommodation and food will be provided.


What You'll be doing

  • To lead by example, providing a level of service and standards in line with company policies and customer expectations. To monitor team leaders effectiveness and implement corrective action where required.
  • Maintaining outstanding standards of cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene at all times
  • Closely monitoring cleanliness and standards in cabins and public areas. Housekeepers tidy and clean cabins 4 times a day.
  • Responsible for ordering linen and chemicals according to budget, ensuring stock of these is kept up to date.
  • Supervising the housekeeping stewards and ensuring standards are maintained across the team.
  • Working 40 hours across a 7 day operation, for 4 months


What We're Looking for

  • Minimum two years’ experience in house keeping and high end hospitality
  • Immaculate presentation and a professional, well-groomed appearance
  • Calm, confident, and attentive with excellent communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable with working hours across various venues
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working under pressure while maintaining composure
  • Genuine commitment to delivering consistently high levels of service
