Assistant Manager

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and experienced Assistant Hospitality Manager to join our corporate hospitality operation and help us deliver exceptional experiences for clients, guests, and VIPs.

Working closely with the Hospitality Manager, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of hospitality services, supporting the team and ensuring every event is delivered to an outstanding standard.

The Role

As Assistant Hospitality Manager, you’ll be hands-on in the operation, supporting the management team while leading by example and ensuring excellent service throughout every event.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Hospitality Manager with the day-to-day running of the operation.
• Leading and motivating the hospitality team during events and busy service periods.
• Ensuring consistently high standards of food, beverage, presentation, and customer service.
• Supporting the delivery of corporate events, functions, and VIP hospitality experiences.
• Building positive relationships with clients, guests, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Assisting with staff rotas, briefings, training, and team development.
• Monitoring service standards and dealing confidently with guest queries or issues.
• Supporting event preparation, service delivery, and close-down.
• Working closely with catering, events, operations, and commercial teams.
• Taking responsibility for the operation in the Hospitality Manager’s absence.

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in hospitality, events, corporate hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or a similar environment.
• Has experience supervising or leading a hospitality team.
• Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Is confident, professional, and comfortable working with corporate clients and VIP guests.
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Can remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Is proactive, reliable, and willing to get stuck in.
• Has excellent attention to detail and high personal standards.
• Is flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and event days when required.
