Enhance Catering is supporting a valued client in recruiting a Chef Manager to support the catering operation at a wonderful SEN & Primary School in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, hands‑on chef who enjoys leading a small team, working with fresh ingredients, and delivering a high‑quality food service.

You will be a Chef Manager, Cook Manager, Head Chef or Sous Chef ready to step up, with excellent cooking and people-management skills. You take pride in running a well‑organised, efficient kitchen and are confident producing high‑quality meals.


What You'll be doing

  • Lead and manage 4 team members
  • Catering for approx. 300 covers daily
  • Prepare and deliver fresh, seasonal food to a consistently high standard
  • Manage, motivate, and develop a small catering team
  • Ensure full compliance with all food safety, health & safety, and due diligence requirements
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with onsite stakeholders and clients
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
  • Drive food quality, consistency, and presentation


What Is On Offer

  • Pay Rate - £24,900 per annum
  • Working Hours - 35 hours per week | 8.00am to 3.30pm or 7.30am to 3pm
