Are you a Chef looking for more flexible, sociable hours?

At Enhance Catering, we are seeking talented Chefs who are looking for a great work-life balance and the chance to be part of a company that caters to the Education, Healthcare and MoD sectors.

As a temporary agency who specialise in safeguarding locations the hours we have vary from site to site but will be in the range of 0700 - 1500 or 1000 – 1900, Monday to Friday.

Weekend work is available if you are open to this, however is not a requirement.

Driving and having access to a vehicle would be beneficial for this role due to some of the working locations however is not a requirement.

Main Duties

· Preparation of food including variety in diets and allergens which included texture diets, blended meals, and modified meals.

· Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise waste.

· Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

· Food orders, dependant on the role you are placed into i.e head chef/chef manager.

· Putting away stock and deliveries.

· Adhering to all relevant health and safety requirements

· Possibly serving food and/or operating a till

Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years’ experience at either Sous or Head Chef level

· Willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check or have one already.

· To be a passionate professional chef with a desire to meet high standards and deliver quality food consistently.

· Great communication and teamwork skills

· The ability to comfortably work a busy service as part of a team.

· Excellent English language skills

· Must have own Chef whites, knives, and safety shoes.
