Enhance Catering are recruiting experienced and reliable School Chefs to support catering operations across our school sites.

We're looking for confident, hands-on chefs who enjoy cooking fresh food, take pride in maintaining high standards and are comfortable working independently.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals for pupils and staff.
• Working independently and managing daily kitchen operations.
• Organising food preparation and ensuring a smooth lunch service.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Ensuring consistency, quality and presentation of all meals.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or School Chef.
• Strong cooking skills and confidence working independently.
• Good organisation, time management and attention to detail.
• A reliable, professional and flexible approach.
• Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
• Drivers with access to their own transport are highly desirable.
• Immediate availability is a strong advantage.

Previous school catering experience is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from chefs with experience in restaurants, hotels and other professional kitchens.
