A La Carte Waiter / Barista

We are currently recruiting an experienced A La Carte Waiter/ Barista for a bespoke, high-end retirement residence. This is a on-going temporary opportunity for someone passionate about delivering exceptional service in an elegant, resident-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hospitality experience, a polished and professional approach, and a genuine passion for creating a first-class dining experience. You will be confident delivering attentive, personalised service to residents and their guests, ensuring every interaction feels warm, welcoming, and seamless.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering high-quality a la carte food and beverage service to residents and their guests
• Serving food and drinks with confidence, care, and attention to detail
• Making Coffee/ other hot beverages to a high level - Barista experience would be an advantage
• Providing attentive, personalised service while maintaining a warm and approachable manner
• Maintaining excellent presentation standards across dining and hospitality areas
• Ensuring tables are set, cleared, and prepared to the highest standard
• Following food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures
• Working collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to deliver a consistently exceptional resident experience

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of two years' experience in hospitality, ideally within a high-end restaurant, hotel, private members' club, or similar service-led environment
• Previous à la carte waiting experience or other relevant food and beverage service experience
• A polished, professional, and well-presented approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build rapport
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and attention to detail
• The ability to work efficiently as part of a team while using initiative when working independently
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and a flexible approach to work
• Flexible schedule to work on a rota basis (Weekends will be included) Rota will be given 1 week in advance
