Cleaning Supervisor

Location: Essex & London

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7

Schedule: Includes some weekend work

Driving: Full UK driving licence and access to a car essential

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join a growing business with a number of sites across Essex and London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaning professional who is ready to take responsibility for multiple sites and play an important role in maintaining high standards as the business continues to grow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cleaning teams across various locations, ensuring standards are consistently maintained, staff are supported, and clients receive an excellent level of service.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be comfortable travelling between sites. Candidates based in East London or the surrounding areas may find the location particularly convenient, but we are happy to consider applicants from further afield who have their own vehicle and are comfortable travelling throughout Essex and London.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising and supporting cleaning teams across multiple sites
Ensuring cleaning standards are consistently maintained
Carrying out regular site visits and inspections
Managing and motivating cleaning staff
Ensuring staff are working efficiently and following agreed procedures
Identifying and addressing any cleaning or staffing issues
Maintaining strong relationships with clients and site contacts
Supporting the recruitment, training and onboarding of cleaning staff where required
Monitoring attendance, performance and overall team standards
Ensuring health, safety and company procedures are followed
Working with management to continuously improve service delivery

About You

We are looking for someone who has previous cleaning supervisory experience and understands what is required to manage cleaning teams and maintain high standards across multiple sites.

You will ideally be:

Experienced in a Cleaning Supervisor or similar management role
Confident supervising and motivating cleaning teams
Organised and able to manage multiple sites and priorities
Comfortable dealing with clients and staff professionally
Reliable, proactive and hands-on
Flexible regarding working days and occasional weekend work
Willing to travel between sites across Essex and London
A full UK driving licence holder with access to your own car
